We got you covered for all curiosities and adventures. From Flower, to dabbing, we’re here to walk you through your first time so you have safe and enjoyable experience.
INDICA VS SATIVA VS HYBRID
Strains are typically grouped into three different groups: indica, sativa, and hybrid. Each produces different effects for the user. Indica strains are physically sedating and are perfect for promoting relaxation, great for a movie or as a nightcap before bed. “Indica puts you in-da-couch,” as they say. Indica plants are shorter in nature and have broad leaves. They are suitable for colder climates with shorter seasons and have shorter flowering cycles. Sativas produce a more uplifting high that pair great with activities such as social gatherings, outdoor adventures, or creative projects. Sativa plants are taller in structure with narrow leaves. They are better suited for warmer climates with longer seasons and have longer flowering cycles. Hybrid strains bring together the effects of both indicas and sativas, depending on the traits that carry over from their parent strains.
CONSUMING EDIBLES
Did you know it can take up to four hours for an edible to take effect? While it can be tempting to go in for another one while you’re waiting for a high to hit, just chill out and have some patience. Using too much can lead to anxiety, hallucinations, and paranoia — not a fun time. The standard serving size is 10 mg of THC, so don’t take more than that to start. Edibles can have a different effect depending on how often you use marijuana.
DABBING ETIQUETTE
STEP 1
Gear Up! Use a glass rig and a quartz nail for precise temps and optimal flavor.
STEP 2
Start Small, Concentrates are prized for their potency, and a little bit goes a long way. If you’re new to dabbing, start with a crumb-sized portion for a comfortable experience. Once you know your personal tolerance, you can repeat or increase your dose.
STEP 3
Go Low Temp. Heat quartz nail to 450-550 degrees Fahrenheit to experience the widest spectrum of terpenes and cannabinoids. At low temps, you’ll enjoy vivid flavors and effects without harsh smoke.
STEP 4
Time It. Dial in your temp with a timer. Heat your nail for 45 seconds (or until red hot), then cool it for 45-70 seconds. Times will vary depending on your nail’s condition. New quartz will need longer to cool down; worn quartz will cool down faster.
STEP 5
Cleaning. After every dab, use a cotton swab to wipe away residue while the nail is still hot. This ensures that you get the purest, most flavorful experience every time.
STEP 6
Safety First. Plan to enjoy concentrates in a comfortable setting where you can relax and kick back for a few hours. Always keep your gear and extracts in a safe, secure place out of reach of children and pets.
